Huntington Beach/dinner on the pier

We love the beach! Surfing, sun, squishy sand=fabulous fun. We spent the morning at Huntington Beach, then we went to Newport beach to eat dinner on the pier. I always wanted to get a ride from those guys pulling a cart on a bike, so we all piled into our little Chariot, and I got to say staring at some strange guys sweaty butt while he struggles to peddle his bike with a cart full of fatties, not that amazing, although I do have to admit he did have some impressive calves, as a personal trainers opinion honey--ok I got his number--what it's was on the back of his umm... bike. I want to move to California. After moving 13 times what's one more.

Arizona Renaissance Fair

Hazzah! We took the girls to the renaissance fair this last Saturday—if you have never been I would highly recommend it, it’s so fun even for the kids. We try to make it a yearly family tradition, and I have been going to the fair since I was 16 and was a dancer there, and I still have yet to see everything there and they keep adding more and more attractions, shows, and buildings.

I couldn't believe how involved the girls got into the shows--They loved the Sword Swallower, and getting muddy from sitting front row on one of the shows and throwing water balloons on stage at a guy who was trying to catch himself on fire with fireworks duct taped to his scrawney little body --yeah you kinda had to be there.

Good Times

My Birthday at Disneyland

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

I know we had just went to California two weeks earlier but I really wanted to celebrate my birthday at Disneyland. It wasn't to hard to convince Tim to drive another 8 hours with three small children in a cramped car, when I told him that I would get in FREE--lovely, and that it would be my birthday present--he hates, HATES, buying me presents because I'm not the typical woman--I don't like jewelry, coach bags, or any of the easy thoughtless gifts guys give woman. Our first year of marriage he bought me a gorgeous diamond ring for Christmas and I got more emotional and excited for an antenna ball he stuffed in my stocking--funny story, but it was very thoughtful and sentimental. It only took him 8 years of marriage, but I think he's finally getting the hang of it.
Spoiled rotten? Me?.........Ok.

So when we got into Disneyland they gave me this adorable button to wear letting everyone know that it was my birthday and I got the royal treatment. I think more people wished me happy birthday that day than I had in my entire life up to that point.

We had just an amazing time. It's Disneyland what more do I need to say.

AWE I showered I swear just no one wanted to sit by me
Poor Girls it builds character

Busted.....

Loving it..

Someones got to teach them the right way to have fun.

Fresh squeezed fun.

Tim wouldn't let us take him home....I guess we really don't need two knights in shining armor.

san diego zoo

Lions, tigers and bears. I love animals-- it's a good thing because I have a house full of them. We took the girls to the San Diego Zoo. We only had a few hours so we toured the zoo on the double Decker bus, then we rode the Ski-farri which was extremely frightening with a hyper, exploitative 1 year old. Tim took her first because we were all to fat to ride together, so we had to split up, then I took the baby on the way back. I had a death grip around her tiny little body and she cried the whole distance of the zoo. Later Tim told me that he didn't even hold her on his lap and was letting her move around and look over the edge. No wonder why she was screaming on her ride with me. I guess I'm a tad bite over protective. What a blast.
